Default Colin, I have a surprise for you...

Colin I was on your website and noticed the just arrived frost green with white interior Hemi GTX. http://www.classicauto-sales.com/detail.php?car=199 I thought it looked familiar. Then I saw the copy of the previous title you have displayed in the listing. Check out this New Jersey title and tell me what you notice....

That GTX was the car parked next to my 70 hemi charger on the day I first saw it in that guy's driveway in Ridgewood, NJ back in 1987. Your title should show the original mileage on the left side of the document. That GTX was parked about twenty feet to the right of the Charger in this picture! I can definitely vouch for the mileage and the originality of that car. At the time he had that GTX with 16,000 miles and the Charger with 12,000. It hasn't changed a bit in the 20 years since I saw it last. Amazing how everything comes full circle after all these years. At $85K that is quite the bargain.

Hey Steve,
You are right - that is quite a surprise! Pretty cool! The owner you saw it with sold it to a guy in Florida, who I bought it from. The GTX is really an amazing car, it is unfortunate I have too many projects right now. The car needs very little to make it a killer. I've been on the fence about selling it for a while, it is a tough decision. I love the color combo, and the car really looks like 16k miles, not like some "low mile" cars I have seen that look worse than an old NYC taxi cab

So yes, fill me in on what details you have on the GTX! Looks like he titled it in 85, maybe that is when he bought it. The engine feels pretty stout, the car really rips. I'd be curious to know just what is in there. It has a stamp on it from somebody named "Pepe", anything you know about or that was on your car?

Thanks!
Colin
