I am still looking for a license plate frame and dealer trunk emblem from Robert Chevrolet. The dealership is located on Route 107 in Hicksville, New York and is still currently in business. I have spoken to the owner and he hasn’t been able to find anything. If you happen to come across one of these items at a swap meet, I will reimburse you for the cost and the shipping to me. Thanks…

Marlin,
Does a board member own this Deuce? It was originally sold from Robert Chevrolet also. ![]()

I don't think he is a board member, the owner works a lot of hours - but the car was completed about 2 years ago. He supplied that pic to me a while ago, and the pic was actually taken in CA a real long time ago. The car has some of the best paperwork of any of the deuces, and it documents that Robert Chev. was willing to swap stuff in order to sell a car.

My Chevelle had a chrome metal Robert Chevrolet dealer emblem on the left side of the trunk lid. I removed it many years ago and misplaced it. Speaking with the dealership owner, he had mentioned to me that they were also applying decals during the 1970's. He gave me the attached decal for my car. When you get a chance, post a picture of your trunklid.
