Default 70 CAMARO WITH BALDWIN MOTION STRIPES

THINKING OF painting my camaro with the baldwin motion type stripes, but i was thinking of putting the stripe down the side which runs around to the back and making it go into the one stripe on the back deck as was done to them, but was thinking of leaving the one off the top of the car and just putting the regular 2 rally stripes on the hood----anyone seen it done like this before or got any pictures of one done like this?i think it would look good like this, but cant really picture it good in my head

Heres a couple of pics...

If you do it similar to this,
at least the hood will match the trunk.

The great thing about models,
you can paint them many times for less than $100.

HEY--i'm in easley s.c.---thanks for the pics, but i have already seen these--it just seems that there are only a few of the same pics on the net.the first picture is the way that i was thinking of painting, but thinking of just going into 1 stripe on the back deck up to the windshield and then putting the regular 2 rally stripes on the hood, but i cant figure out if this would look good or stupid?i like the stripes down the side that come up into 1 stripe on the deck, but usually people go across the hood with one when they do that--but i like the regular 2 on the hood---what are some thoughts on this idea---thanks

I prefer the single stripe coming out the center of the L88 hood, over the roof and continuing with the single stripe on the trunk that runs into the "stinger" on the door. I think that was the original design for the 2nd generation Phase III Camaros and I am partial to that look.

YES--that was the origional design, but what do you think of the same design, but without the strip on the roof and then put the 2 on the hood-i have taped it off just to get an idea of how it would look ,and i think it looks good--my wife says it looks stupid and that i should either do the 1 all the way or the 2 all the way but not to try my idea--i just cant believe that i am the only person to think of or try to do it like this---or maybe it will look stupid---anyone think this would look good?--thanks

I hate to disagree with you but i think you should listen to your wife on doing either the single stripe or the double stripe.I personally like the double stripe, across the hood then the deck & across the sides. But it's your car BUILD IT HOW YOU LIKE IT.Do you own a shop in easley? I own a collision repair shop in FT.INN s.c.Hey JFKHEAT do you know jimmy kellet?I restored his orange 69 chevelle.I recall him telling me about a buddy of his that owns a rare beaumont!JEFF CANNON

I just saw on one of the car shows I watch each Sunday that Duplicolor makes a type of spray paint that you can use to paint "temporary" graphics. They wash off with soap and water and come in various colors. If you already have it taped off why not spray it with this paint? If it looks tupid just wash it off...............no I am not kidding this stuff really does exist.

Akzo Nobel makes a product called Maskin that does the samething, except you peel it off. It's hard to get ahold of it because it has to come from the Netherlands.
