61 impala trunk hinge
im looking for a 61 impala trunk hinge. a friend of mine misplaced one. i dont know what other years will work or if they are different from side to side........THANKS

Jeff,
If you're talking about the curved part that attaches to the deck lid, Chevrolet calls that piece a hinge "strap". '61-'63 are the same, left and right, exc. convertible. They're only available either NOS or used - no repro. Verne

That's part #5717538 for 1961-64 Passenger cars,Except Convert. & Station wagon.
Call Modern Chevrolet @ 1-800-722-4828. They show them in stock and I believe are reproduction.
