Says it's in a boat....may be the same one the 'hoopla' was over a month or so back? ~ Pete

I don't think it is the same one. It is down in the middle of Okla. Talked to the guy and he has a reserve of 10k on it. sounds like it runs good though.

I found this online from the same guy. ~ Pete

"just bought a jet boat and the gentleman I bought it off of told me it had a 1970 LS6 engine. I asked him how he knew and he said he bought the chevell it came out of in 1973. He rolled the car in 85 and the engine has been sitting in his shop till two years ago. It was then he sent the engine to the machine shop and spent 4500. The engine was built in july of 69 and is a true Ls6. The heads were built in may of 1970 and they are correct for the engine. The engine screams now and can be driven in the jet boat. The last one of these that went on ebay brought 8600.00, I am asking 7500 for this one or 7000 without the carb. Thanks for looking. Call me at 405-620-2850 for more info."

Is that block casting too early....the engine build is Dec 5'th? .

That motor would go good in that eBay stick car that appears to may be an LS6 coupe but is listed as L78....I see it didn't hit the reserve at $8900 or BIN of $12,500!

Thanks Mark....I see that other auction was for an M40 suffix not a stick as this one is supposed to be. .
