Looking for an old Nova ad.....

Hello,
I'm looking for an old ad that had a 69-72 Nova with fender flares on it. It was a performance part ad, maybe Zoom/Hooker/Edelbrock. I think it had sidepipes also, not sure...and a stinger hood or hood scoop. It was a common ad in all the magazines at the time and I think someone here posted a pic of it a year or two ago. It shows a three-quarter view with the car approaching the camera.

Your not talking about the 1969 Baldwin Motion Nova from the Cars Road Test March 1969 are you? Look at Scott's site here: Novaresource history page

Thank you for the reply, but, no that's not it. This ad would have been in PHR, or Car Craft, etc. Probably early 70s.

I remember the add, it was a blue Nova with ET mags and really mild but obvious flares. I have it in one of my thousands of old magazines, but it is a tough looking Nova.

Well, I bought a collection of 70's Car Craft and Hotrod magazines from a site member a while back, so maybe I have it. I have only scratched the surface with reading through all those mags...but I will keep my Nova eye open.

I think it was an ad for Monroe shocks. Believe that was a give away car.

Ask whitetop about this car. It is one of the reasons he is such a day 2 nut. He plans on replicating this car one day and already has all the NOS parts waiting.

Someone posted this ad in a discussion thread maybe a year ago. I remember the multi-hued blue Nova, flared, with Cragar SSTs and an L88? hood. I wanna' say it was a Thrush ad?

Yes, it is an ad for Monroe shocks. A forum member said he would try to locate the ad for me. Gonna have to ask "Whitetop" where he found the flares......
