What color were these? I have seen about a million defferent versions. I just got pair from Rick's and they are fluorescent orange wblack letters. In their catalog the ones pictured are pink w/black. Whats the verdict? Thanks!

I believe you have the correct color, at least that is what is on mine and I have not seen Pink on any cars.

Attached is a scan for the AI sticker that was still on my 28,000 mile Z-28. The color is Orange to Red and the letters are Black and underlined.

This picture will show the location, I could make out the outline of where the missing sticker used to be. It is made from a paper that doesn't look like it would hold up to well to the elements, no protective coating at all.

No they are not original unfortunately, they are reproductions.

Mike, have any underhood or suspension shots? I'm curious as to the color and placement of your undercarrage inspection marks. Is your car a Norwood car?

I have been watching the other post about the paint marks also. I have all my parts cleaned up, I only used solvent to wash off the grease. I just need to get some good pictures to post.
I only have a couple underhood shots from years ago. After I bought it I had the bright idea to make it look better and cover up these ugly PTB stamps that were all crooked anyway. (Dumb a$$) There were only a few day 2 parts on it at the time, which I removed. The 5.14 gears made it feel like you were rowing a boat moving from a traffic light. It is a Norwood car and it has always been in Rochester, NY Mike |
