Found another alt with a #387AI deep groove pulley in the piles of extras.
Does anyone know what it might be from? It is stamped: 1100662 37A 8C23 Thanks, Eric |

My Hollanders shows a 661 and a 663 used for 1964 Buicks. It doesn't show the 662! On the other hand, my Mitchells shows the 662, but doesn't tell me exactly what model it was used on! However, since the 661 and 663 were used on 64 Buicks, I would guess that the 662 was also for a 64 Buick. But since the date on yours is March 23, 1968 (or 78, or 88, or 98, etc...), it's probably a service replacement.

That Alternator looks like a Buick application, but I can't confirm right now.
There is someone selling that Alt. right now for $50.00. Not sure about what pulley you have on it, but DG Pulley #3829387 was used on: *1967 Z/28 Camaro *1966 L-78 Chevelle *1965 & 66 L-78 Impala |

Thanks for the info guys.
The pulley is a 3829387AI, just like the one on my Z alt. Someone must have switched it in the past or GM made a mismatched service part. |
