Default Muncie 4 speed decode help

Can anybody give me an idea of what this tranny is and what Division it might have come from? Also, any idea of the year?

- main case 3851325.
- tail case 3857584.
- Only code on it is P0831.
- Speedo connection on passenger's side.

Appreciate it.

The 1325 main case was used in 1964 and 1965 if that helps.

The 7584 tailshaft was used after Feb 1965 so I am thinking 1965.

The P0831 is Muncie Aug 31st. Probably of 1965.

I did some surfing and believe I found the information I was looking for.

Rick - I believe you are dead on.

Bruce - That link would probably have been my next source.

Thanks guys
