I just bought some NOS door trim from a seller and checked his other auctions. He has this car listed on Ebay now. What's the deal with it?

Based on the pictures, the hidden VIN under the heater box is long gone. The one under the cowl perpssp is still there. Looks like a hugely expensive resto on something that is likely an SS 350 car. I suspect the current seller checked out the COPO possibility and is now selling it. The black grill doesn't lend credence to it being a COPO, but perhaps worth a gamble to someone. A cool old race car though.

pretty sure that car was on ebay about 8 months ago and we discussed it here or at TC...another old racer that needs some love.
