This car has been out there for sale for quite sometime now at least 14 months that I am aware of I.E. Hemmings, Deals etc.. It's been on Ebay a time or two as well. Interesting car but ....... Nice history and docs on the engine.

Hope the the new owner enjoys it.

It will be interesting to see if it surfaces at BJ in Scottsdale in the coming months.

What he said.

Bidder ID kept private. No way to tell if the buyer is legit.

It would be a whold different ball game if Don Yenko built this car. Heck Yenko didn't even build the engine. The guy ordered a bare block and heads and misc parts. How does that translate to Yenko stripes etc.? No doubt the parts have some historical significance. Basically a $20,000 car. Can't see an $80,000 premium for the engine.

Also find it strange that the car now has 35,310 miles on it, but evidently had 35,330 mile in 82 when they "stuffed" the engine in.

Whole story sounds fishy (other than the block purchase).
