The average relative humidity [ARH] in Las Vegas is 39% in the morning and 21% in the afternoon [Phoenix/Tucson is 52%/25%]. Several major airlines store their excess and out of service airplanes here and Phoenix/Tucson because of the ideal ARH, so I concluded that a constant humidity of 30% would work well in my shop. No problems with surface corrosion so far, after 25 years.

ARH in Chicago is over 70%, so I'd go check under the tarps at Bulaw's car shop for the rewards of that smartass remark

Car Capsule works well non HVAC storage areas. My small 3 bay garage is climate controlled. Keep your area at positive pressure at all times and you will be ok. Air movement is the key. Kevin Hand has fans running on his cars all the time at his place.
