I found it!!!!!!
The missing 1971 plymouth hemi cuda convertible has been located. Seems it is owned by a truckdriver in pittsburg, pa, who has been keeping it a family secret for quite some years.

Actually the last "real" 71 hemicuda ragtop was recently located. It is red with black interior and very few options. That means all are accounted for unless another export car shows up in the future.
7 for US production 2 for Canadian production 2 for export production 11 total Here's a shot of me beating the crap out of #6 US production at the 1986 Musclecar Nationals.

19 years ago and it still seems like yesterday. Nothing like rev-ing an original (though blueprinted) engine to 7000 rpm and having it shrug it off like it was nothing. ....There just somethin' about a hemi!

The "I found it" was definately sarcastic steve. That guy is a known blowhard/bigmouth on that forum, and if you read a little further in that thread, you'll see where some of the regular posters there took him to task over his claim to own that car.
I was hoping you'd find this thread. I have been doing a bunch of research on these 11 cars, and have read several of your posts concering them on this message board. You seem to know a lot about that particular car. Is there a complete list of the owners and locations anywhere that you know of??

Okay, lets try a little different question. Are any of the cars still in the hands of there original owners??? Or, is there any information regarding what dealers originally sold those 7 cars that remained in the US??? Or possibly what region they were sold in??
What dollar values can be placed on a good replica?

My old one was sold new in Wisconsin. It had all its orginal paperwork. I dont think any are in original hands any more. I dont think any came from a "famous" dealership, just regular purchases at hometown dealers.

That was the blue 71 4 speed car that was in Denver when I last saw it in 1982. I believe the auction you have linked to was from a police seizure of the car from some nefarious individual in Oregon or Washington State. Both of the US production
4-speed cars are blue on blue.
