Hope you manage to find a set; I've been looking for a used pair, initially in dark blue, but then deciding I could settle for black, via this "wanted" request, but no luck so far...... seems they don't turn up very often.

I too have been looking for some time. 4+ yrs to be exact. Had several missing endcap and split/cracked windlace offered. I have A nice REAL one and a dyed one that D&R sold me without disclosing that one of them was originally black and dyed orange. They should have a White inner with a Orange outer skin on them.

BTW, I have a Drivers side dark Blue 69 Windlace with the metal tab (sun faded but in GREAT shape) I've been holding onto and they are Black with a Blue skin on the outer side. So A Black set would work great if you went the dyed route.
