Can any of you LS6 owners or enthusiasts help me out with what clutch fan number you have on your car (or know to be correct on an LS6)? I've been given a couple of different numbers and I want to try and determine which is (are) correct. Thanks in advance

The assembly line Clutch Viscus used on the 1970 LS6 Chevelles 7 bladed Fan was #3946804 stamped with a CV ink stamp.
The later service replacement is #342754. I have used originals,& NOS examples of these, but they are not for sale.A difficult item to find for the Anal restorer. The 7 bladed Fan itself was part#3947772. Another 7 bladed fan they used later on the line with similar characteristics is #3976065,but there is no number stamped on it. I should start a Tab for you.... |

Looking at the car to quote on the resto and only charging me $200 for your expenses was very kind of you SS427. I appreciate it

The LS6 chevelle clutch fan is the 064. It is real common to find NO part # on these fans. We have one with and one with out, for our LS6 chevelle's. It really kills me when people advertise the 772 fan for the LS6's.
The "MOF"
