OK, I found a 1969 Camaro with a decent body (no motor or tranny) in the Hudson Valley NY. Cowl tag is x44 made in Norwood, 8cyl, 350 Turbo trans. Dumb question - were traction bars or finned rear cover plates offered by dealers ?

Maybe Nickey Chevrolet, Yenko or any other supercar dealer, they all had huge over the counter parts department... But the traction bars and rear cover were probably installed by the owner via aftermarket speedshop.. Its just a thought... Mark
