I HAVE RECENTLY SEEN THE CONVERSATIONS REGARDING THE JL-8 CAR THAT I AM TAKING TO BARRETT-JACKSON. I UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION BUT THE CAR SPEAKS FOR IT SELF. THE CAR HAS A VERY COMPLETE OWNER HISTORY AND IS VERY ORIGINAL, EVEN THE GAS TANK IS DATED CORRECTLY. I WELCOME ANYONE TO COME AND LOOK AT MY CAR, ITS NOT PERFECT BUT IT IS NICE AND ORIGINAL, AND YES I HAVE REPAINTED, PLATED AND DETAILED SOME OF THE ORIGINAL COMPONENTS BUT THE JL-8 PARTS ARE ALL UNTOUCHED AND RETAIN THEIR 35 YEAR OLD FINISH.

I haven't seen the car or the documentation, but it's difficult to believe a Nov built car received the JL8 package especially when the rear is dated January. The BJ description is also confusing with it saying unrestored when the car has been repainted. It should say that the car has been repainted. I wish you luck at the auction since I'm very interested in what a JL8 will bring. But I honestly will say that you would need some serious previous owner proof that the car came the way it is equipped.
