I'm looking for a rebuild kit or "consumable" parts for a Delco Moraine booster (70 chevelle). GM stuff is discontinued, rebuilders don't want to sell parts. Parts are out there, obviously as they're being rebuilt. Any ideas? Thanks.

I checked my suppliers and got the same answer you are probally getting....."send it to us and we will rebuild it for you"....but no luck on any parts.

Yep, they want to protect their business - that's OK.
I bought a rebuilt booster through local parts place that I trade with often ($76 + $25 core). I'll gut it and put the parts in my perfect, date correct shells. Backwards, I know, but I'm kind of funny about doing stuff myself. I'll also be done with it before a rebuilder would have even received it. The Camaro and Chevelle parts houses also have the rebuilt boosters, of course (at more $$) as does NAPA. Thanks. Dave |
