Default Anyone heading to the Englishtown swap meet?

I plan on going down Saturday and I'll enter the SS454 pickup in the show(mainly to get a good parking spot). I'll be looking for some parts for my 68 and the 69. If you see a scrawny 135 lb guy with sunglasses, stop by and say hi. And I may be bringing a few parts to sell(69 ps box, 94 LT1 ported heads)

Jeff, I will be there Sunday. You are probably there already. Bruce and I just picked up his Z11 yesterday!

Default 69 Yenko Chevelle at Englishtown!

So is this Shor's car? The Butternut Yellow 69 Yenko Chevelle on display at Englishtown. The Nick Morroco race car. There was some wild stuff at the swap meet/show yesterday. A cool 1958 Morris Minor wagon with the full tubbed/race treatment and a huge, blown big block(not even sure what make engine due to too many people around it) engine in it. The engine took up about half the car. And the dumbarss me forgot to bring his camera! DOH! There were a bunch of sweet cars yesterday and that was the modified day. I'm sure today will be even better with stock original cars. Beautiful weather for the swap meet for the first time in 2-3 years. Kevin, you're probably already there walking around right now.

Yes, that would be Shor's Chevelle. Chris does not live too far from there. And one of the guys announcing at the track is a long time member of the sYc, Andrew Hinckley. He has pitched in to help at several SCRs and is scheduled to announce for us on Friday at the track.

Jeff, yes, I was at E-town. Nice day, decent finds for Ebay. Too exhausted to look at the cars after walking for parts.

Hey Jeff, too bad we didn't get a chance to meet.
Did you get a look at that fathom L89 survivor Camaro? Wow.
How about the Ford Fairlane 500 427r car? Same owner since 68 when it came into the Ford dealership on trade. He worked at the parts department and he has owned the car ever since.
And that was Andrews Tbird convertible.
I too in the hustle and bustle forgot my camera, but we bought a disposable one and took some shots.

Yeah, I saw the Fathom survivor and the 427R Fairlane. I couldn't believe how quiet that car was when he drove by. Those stock exhaust manifolds have to be hurting the power on that engine. That engine barely fits between the shock towers. Were you there on Saturday? I spent most of the day hanging out near my SS454 pickup. I had several offers on it, but it runs so good that I've decided I don't want to sell it.

Those SS454's are perfect engines for "power adders". I used to race against one that looked like it had just rolled out of the dealership, except for the dual bottles under the tonneau...ran like stink.
