I recall your original post in technical and restoration from 12-03, and as I recall it was on the the shroud.

Anyway I show the sheet with the numbers you are asking for as UPC VO-1 which was Cancelled on 2-11-70, right after production started. The shroud you are asking for should fit ok, however that ended up as the HD cooling unit shroud used on the V-8 cars.

Try Part # 3986525 for the Half-cap or #3973902 and #3973900,(long shot finding these) for the 6 cyl full shroud (Correct for VO-1 Very Early -6 Cyl with AC and HD cooling) There is a picture of this shroud in the booklet "Service Highlites of the New Camaro" on page 13. There is also a good illustration of all of the shrouds located on page 13-1 of the supplement "1970 Chassis and Overhaul Manual-Camaro"

I think recall a mid production smaller 1 pc shroud also, although I do not have that number.

Phil, That is how I figured out the shrouds #s The top plate is the org to the car by the pictures I have of it the # on the top plate is 3973904 which is VO1 option my car VIN is in the 9000 area so it is a early 70 camaro. The pictures I have look exacly like the one under VO1 in the manual. The emmision sticker has a part# of 3939370 0r 3989370 it has a suffx of AY on it. I am getting very anal retentive about this car Thanks Phil for your help. Kim
