Take a look at the close up photo of the dash VIN tag. It has a bad case of the re-revits. Looks like they pried it off with a spoon.

I had mentioned the dash dilemma in another thread somewhere. The problem with E-body Mopars (cudas and challengers) is that their VIN plates were rosette rivited directly to the very removeable dash pad. Since the dash pads on these cars were so prone to cracking around the center speaker grill, everyone replaced the dash pad eventually over the years. The problem comes when somebody who does not know the proper way to remove and reinstall the tag, pries it off. This leaves a very visible evidentiary mark for all to see when looking through the windshield at the VIN. From the photo it looked like that was the case, but without seeing the car in person (which I would be happy to do for someone) and verifying the confidential VIN locations and paperwork, there is no way for a knowledgable buyer to determine the situation.

My $.02 is that dealer is HIGH. Just my opinion. There is a 1970 Convert Judge on there for $145,000. That car was for sale by the owner for about 3 months for $65,000.
Talk about a profit! ![]() ![]() I am in the wrong field of work!

The Judge was discussed on a Performance Years, a Pontiac site, a week or so ago. One of the members there sold it in December for $65,000. Here is a link to that thread.
