Default Thrush sidepipes

Got a pair of thrush aluminum sidepipes with s pipes look about 25+ yrs old found in garage, anyone know what they came off and how to restore finish

They could have had a lot of different applications...if they are ribbed aluminum and pitted it's going to be very costly to try and get them right

they are ribbed but not pitted just very tarnished and kindof oxidized what compounds would work best to try and clean them up, they got the word thrush embossed in the bottom tail pipe outlet , were these around in the late sixties

Just try any of the aluminum wheel cleaners and roll the dice......Whitetop ...you out there to date a set of these things...are you going to put them on your Camaro ???

I found them in it, not on it , guy said they weren't original, but I didn't ask him if they came with it when he bought the car, he felt as I did that the car wouldn't have these on if it were factory, but there was a lot of dealer installed or catolog parts in this car , so it is possible they came with it, but its pretty oxidized, I got the make of some numbers on it, but its a tough read so far, whats an example of a 67 or 68 date code on these

He put slotted sidepipes on his 68's and 9's but I haven't seen any makes in 67 that carried sidepipes, so I definetly can't even say what brand or style he used look like the ones on dueces or his 68 vettes
