Is the LS6 supposed to have a vent line coming from the fuel pump?

As far as I know, early production (till Jan/Feb) 70 LS6 cars used a #727 short fuel pump and a single fuel line. Code 727 will be in box #33 on the build sheet. Cars built after Feb 70 used the second design long fuel pump with the 1/4 return line to the tank, and Code 768 will be in box #33 on the buildsheet. Cars may have either pump on or close to the time the factory made the change.
