Default L88 Heads and Cam

I am in the process of building up a L88 to factory specs...and have been told that using the factory L88 cam will more than likely cause the aluminum heads to crack in the rocker stud bosses down the road due to the high lift of the cam. The motor is going to go into a car that will be driven every once-in-a-while when it's "nice out". Have any of you guys out there with L88's or ZL1's have this problem and if so what did you do about it?......

Never had a problem, and shift at 7000 and go through the end at 7300!
