Default Dealer Decals

How do you go about duplicating an old dealer decal? The dealership has been gone for many years but we do have a good decal on the car.

Keith,
I have had several decals made over the years and have actually created my own on some custom cars I have done that show vacuum and belt routing. I simply made these on my computer and had a sign shop duplicate the decal for me on vinyl. It is actually laughable as to the cheap cost.

If you have a donor decal or can take a very detail to scale picture, they can also duplicate it using modern technologies. I would estimate the cost at under $100 if they have to do the set up on it.

Keith, I agree with Rick's comments above. If you have a "3M Trimline" dealer up in your area I would suggest you talk to them. The local outlet here did a great job on some 67 Beaumont Decals for a friend of mine. Just a thought pal.

Keith,
I had a dealer decal on my rear bumper. I went to my local sign shop with the decal and they were able to reproduce it. I did something different though and had them mount it on a magnet. That way I can display it on the car and not ruin my chrome bumper and I can take it off when I want to polish the chrome. Just a thought.

Keith,
Can you take a close-up digital pic of the decal and post it or email it to me? I may be able to duplicate it, but I'd need to see it to be sure. I have been doing some decals for some of the guys here and over at TC.
