What is a fair price for a JL8 over the counter rear disc brake rear end complete? please give me some ball park of what these are selling for. Also, for an original factory JL8 rear complete..

The JL8 option is the factory installed 4 wheel discs and includes different front calipers, different brackets, no proportioning valve, rear discs, different e-brake cables, etc. A complete JL8 setup with front and rear components is worth $7-10K depending on how complete and the condition of all the parts. The service package rear disc setup is not a JL8 setup, but very similar rear components. Just the rear service package components should bring around $6-8K.

I'm guessing at what the service package rear would bring because everybody calls them JL8 rears when they try to sell them. I don't even recall seeing a service package rear for sale recently. What's a good estimate on their value?

I know a guy that had the whole setup from front to rear and he was asking $8500. That was everything including the hard to find front brakes and small misc pieces. I think he sold it, but not sure............RatPack....................

Would there be a prefix code on a service package rear? I believe the factory jl-8 is Q_ depending on the ratio. Any additional info would be great..
