I couldn't find a definitive web site for you, but there is a lot of info about A/FX cars (which became "funny cars"). Try this link..
http://www.google.com/search?q=nhra+...rt=10&sa=N Or if the link doesn't work go to www.google.com and search for nhra factory experimental Good Luck! -Sam

GM had a ban on racing in 1963 so they stopped building special cars until the late 60s. Dick Harrell ran a 1964 Chevelle with the 427 engine from his 1963 Z-11 in the FX class. There were some special built 427 Ford Thunderbolts and the famous Dodge Ramchargers but I don't believe you had to have a factory car to run in FX. If you do a search on Ramchargers it may turn up some FX info.

Thanks Joe
This is probably a homemade A/FX similar to the 64 Chevelle of Dick Harrell. T-Bolt and Ramcharger value $$$$$$ homemade A/FX value probably low in value for collector. |
