can anyone give me the definition of what makes a supercar so i can have an accurate understanding. i have discussed this with others in the past and it seems that there are many opinions on this. any and all help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

In my opinion a super car is a factory or dealer preped race car. exampale. a 427 COPO Camaro, Chevelle or nova or a yenko, motion, harall-gibb car. Excuse the spelling its late.

In the 60's it was the term used for mid sized cars with large displacement engines, eg; SS Chevelles, GTO's, 442's,
Buick GS, Comets, 390 Fairlanes etc. They are now almost always called Musclecars. I think it depends on the context it is used. Here it is as Jon said. |
