I've been talking to a guy on FB that has the original "born with" DZ block for his Z/28. The block is .060 over & he would like to sleeve it back to standard. He's in the San Francisco area & can't find a shop that can deck it without losing the numbers. Anybody know somebody close to him that can do what he needs to do? Thank you, Joe

Bolt a plate over the pad surface so it's physically impossible to deck the pad surface. A friend had it done on a valuable block and it worked great.
