Seems to be missing some digits in the LOS body number. Mine was made 1 month before and has 5 digits. The "rivets" also appear to be stamped into the plate to simulate a rivet. It looks like the grain of the plate continues into the rivet "head" to me, but I've been dead wrong before.
Here's my LOS trim tag. ![]()

I am pretty good on the 69 tags. 67... not so much.
Would like to hear from KurtS or Jonesy on this one.

A few observations:
The V108 is misaligned should be even with 03C Body number 1705 looks to be missing a digit as already stated Body number has an extra space after dash and before 1705 Paul

The font impression of the suspect tag is not as sharp and defined as both the authentic tags and the body number, even with 1 digit missing can't be lower on an 03C car than my 02C built car. The 04C is at 190XX and my 02C number is 170XX, which should put the body number on the suspect tag in the 180XX range. As a buyer, I would conclude that tag is a fake.

The 02C and 04C are both deluxe coupes. The 03C is a deluxe convertible. Their body numbers are not comparable.
