High School memories 1966 L-79 Chevy 2
When I was a sophomore in high school a senior had a new burgundy 2 door Chevy 2 L-79 beige interior no radio 4:56 posi , ordered new from Clay Chevrolet in Newton Mass. Saw him a couple of years ago and he said when he went to the dealer with his father to order the car he was 18 years old and after he finished ordering the car the salesman said to the father ( your son just ordered a death car ) He would always put on quite a show with the car around the school. Had M &H slicks on it and would pull the front wheels off the ground doing burnouts,

A group of us used to hang around the car after school and wait for him to come out and leave he always put on a good show for us.
