Default GM Body Shims

Looking for a "few" mint (no rust anyway...) or NOS original body shims that look like these, (~2" length) please PM if you can help.

Default shims

Never seen an original 1969 Camaro body shim like that. That shim is just a universal part. The original shims do not have that big tang. The repop shims are really good except they are plated silver. The original plating is grey/black phosphate.

Default shim

That shim almost looks like an alignment shim.

that shim is used on the 69 RS headlamp buckets where it attaches to the rad support.....used to help get the headlamp bucket assembly aligned so the doors fit nicely to the RS grill.

hard to find these.....very hard!

Probably because everyone tosses them thinking they are alignment shims. Thanks for the info.

Eddie is correct, the shims I need are for a 1969 Camaro Rally Sport headlight bucket. I suspect these had other applications at GM as most items like it did. Below is a photo I took last weekend at MCACN of a shim pack from Mark B's 30,600 mile LOS built '69 Camaro RS/SS that was Vintage Certified. If you have any of these shims please PM

My 67 RS/SS had them as well. I will look through my fasteners and see if I have any.
