Looks like it will ship with drag radials eventually.
And its getting lighter. I think these are cool videos, had the share ( like the way they show the weight coming down). The tire video I think just came out today (3.5" of more meat). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDJip8RHn-8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6hjhFuQIbo |

Makes you wonder of all the variants dodge can do. They can even put the Widebody feature (needed for these bigger 315 drag tires) on the all wheel drive challenger. What is cool is that you can upgrade your current hellcat with the factory widebody stuff with these new special wheels and tires (assumption is will they provide an over the counter offering, but would probably void warranty).
Muscle car wars are alive and well, 2018 should be fun. For now, Chevy seems to be in the lead. |

All of the current big horsepower offerings easily over power "Stock" tires. We have been upgrading ZL1s, Z06s and Hellcats to drag radials for those wanting to experience the best off the line results.
For serious, dedicated drag racing we offer biased ply front runners with slicks on reduced diameter rims for more sidewall / Drag Pac Option. I am surprised that Drag Radials will be original equipment. While DOT approved and they do have rain groves to channel water away from the tread, they can be very slippery and dangerous on wet roads. Hi-Performance is alive and well and still pushing the envelope. |

Bringing back the Demon nameplate is cool and all but tying it to the challenger is kinda lame..
