Default '68 Z/28 with GM headers?

Did Chevrolet ever offer first-gen headers with smog tube provisions? Guessing the answer is no...but this car claims to have them.

----If they are original over-the-counter GM headers they will have part #s somewhere on them. OK Custom built them to GM specs. I have never seen an original set for a Z but have seen Corvette part numbered headers and that was the case with them. Hope this helps!.....Bill S

I can't get into Ebay from work but there is 3 things I remember for sure. The master cyl is wrong. Special ducted hood wasn't available in 1968. Striping on rear shouldn't be on lid edge on factory installed spoiler cars. Most likely an added feature. There's more spoilers & special hoods on Camaros today than ever left Chevrolet. I question the headers also. I always thought they were 1-3/4 primaries..Joe

The only set I have ever seen were on this Baldwin Motion LS6 survivor that we had at SCW. The headers needed repair work from age, but were over all in great shape. I was never certain of the manufacturer...BKH
