Default Small local cruise in tonight with the Chevelle

Only a hand-full of cars there tonight, but of those there were a few very nice ones.

Sorry for the pic quality. Rachel's still learning the intricacies of her new phone.

The `70 Chevelle, the G body Malibu and the Valiant all sounded very healthy when they left.

There's another cruise in another town a few miles East of us on Thursday nights. We're going to Kil-Kare this Thursday (to spectate), but if the weather is nice next week we'll try to make it out there and get some more pics.

I actually spent most of my time there talking to the owner of the truck, very nice fellow named Dan. I parked the Chevelle and walked the lot to see what was there (which didn't take long ) and when I got back to the Chevelle he immediately struck up a conversation with me.

He runs a small business selling restoration parts for `70's-`90's GMC/Chevy trucks, and that's his shop truck. A little rough around the edges, but it gets him from A to B and earns its keep.

I've seen more "rat rods" than I can count being proudly displayed that I'd be FAR more embarrassed to drive than that truck.
