The Super Sport Nova came standard with E70 x 14 red stripe tires...the white stripe was optional. I would imagine most of them were Firestone Wide Ovals or possibly Uniroyal Tiger Paws [but, I've only seen those on 1970's]

My original SS nova in 1969 when I bought it had the red line Uniroyals on it.That car I believe was a March/April build.
The 1969 SS survivor car I own now has the Goodyear Speedway original spare in it that is also a red line.
This car is a November of 68 build.

Wish they repoped the Speedways!

My March built Nova L78 has the Uniroyal red line spare still in the trunk.

Thanks, I found a set of SS wheels and will need tires. Thought I would try and get as close to original as I could.

Kelsey makes a Goodyear "Custom Wide Tread Polyglas" redlines in E70-14 too, wouldn't be 100% right for '69 though.
