Default Mickey Thompson 4-2-1 Headers "Tri-Y"

I thought I would share these vintage M/T 4-2-1 headers. I have seen a few sets for FE Fords over the years but never a BBC set.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has an old Mickey Thompson catalog out there and may be able to verify the application for me. The flange on each header is stamped 1304. I was told these came off of a 1965 Chevelle so I imagine thet fit 64-72 Chevelle, 70-up Camaro, and 55-57 Chevy. I just want to be sure. And yes, these will be for sale here once I verify the application and figure out the value. Sorry for the "dirty" pictures.

Thanks!

Jason

Still looking for info on these headers. The full stamping looks to be 1304 591a.

Thanks,

Jason

Jason are you sure these are M/T's ?
My 72 catalog shows nothing of
4-2-1 , like these.
All the part #s are 3 digit - such as
201-4 or 202-1.

you may older than '72 items or a different manufactor.

Regardless , theses do look Chevelle front steer Headers and in Damn nice Condition.

Small long tubes, 4-2-1 design, Collector that isn't grossly oversized... I'm thinking header designers were pretty smart back then. The 4-2-1 with a tight "choke" at the collector seems to be the way many custom headers are going these days. Just check out Engine Masters competition.

I'm running some Doug's 4-2-1 headers on my Chevy II. Doug's / Doug Thorley has always been a big proponent of Tri-y - maybe they made them?

Belanger also made several Tri-Y configuration headers.

Hmmmm, I was told they were Mickey Thompson but maybe the guy was guessing? I'm pretty sure M/T made a header this style but maybe others did also. Thanks for the replies guys.
