Default Value Question

Hello, just talked to an acquaintance of mine who has a silver '69 SS396 Chevelle. Says it's all numbers matching/born-with 396/325 driveline, automatic, black interior (not sure if bench or not). Supposed to send me some pics, but said it's a very solid car with no rust (from South FL).

Just based on that until I get more info, what's the ballpart value/price he should ask (he's getting ready to sell)? Thanks in advance.

I've got a similar Lemans Blue w/Parchment interior, nice paint, clean interior and engine bay, chassis clean, but not detailed, local show winner. Docs and numbers and will sell for $35,000.00.

Thanks. He said he had $40K+ in it, but would probably sell for $30-ish. I think he bought it at the height of the market, but seems pretty realistic for what he wants. Thanks again.

OK, I stopped today and saw the guy who is selling it. It was frame-off restored around 2001 I believe. The car comes with the Owner's Manual, copy of the window sticker (may have the original one, not sure), Protecto Plate, and a bunch of other documentation. Looks like a pretty nice car from the tiny pictures he gave me, and he's supposed to send a bunch this weekend. It's silver with black vinyl roof and interior, auto on the floor, and rally wheels. Not sure 100% about what he's asking, and when he does that I might add that to the Sale Forum. Thanks.
