Default Selling a car question

Talked to a guy Saturday. Says he is driving 6 hrs on Fri to come see the car.
Talked to a guy Mon. He wanted to come Sat. Told him guy A was potentially coming Fri. Wants a classic car insector to look at the car Fri.

Do I take deposits from either guy? Dont want to lose either potential buyer.
How should I handle this.

... Just be honest and upfront with both parties

.... someone willing to travel 6 hours to Detroit in this weather.... is pretty serious

... Good luck with the sale

Its ashame it has to come to this, however, I've had people tell me "I'll be coming _________" 1000000000 times only to never show up or no call or postpone. I now operate under a "first one here with cash gets it". I don't play games anymore with buyers. Too many flakes have ruined it over the years.

My Nova is still for sale and a guy calls and says he is going to buy the car and will be driving from Phoenix the next morning (6 hours). He calls at 7:30 in the morning to say he is on the way. He never showed and never called again. So if somebody named Robert from Phoenix says he is on the way, don't believe him!
