Has anyone ever seen a line lock/roll control like this one?
Thanks, Kurt ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have a very early Hurst and it doesn't look like that. On the other hand, years back I put in a few Mico-locs (truck stuff, but the same thing) and they look similar to that..

Here are pictures of two different Hurst Line Locks. Approximately what years did these come out? I'm guessing the one in the first picture is older.
Thanks, Kurt ![]() ![]()

If you own an automatic car,it is fun to put the line lock on the rear brake line. You hit the button when your foot is off the brake, then you put one foot on the brake and the other on the gas and do your normal brake stand burnout. It much beter then a brake stand because you can slowly release or reapply the brake to let the car move forward slowly and lay a rolling fog bank style burnout. With the line lock on the front wheels you cant fluctuate brake pressure. Its required for a stick car,but for an auto, the line lock on the rear line is way more fun and effective.Basically instead of locking the front brakes, you are disabling the rear brakes.
You have to remember, the line lock doesn't lock the front brakes,it simply plugs the line. It can keep pressure in the brake or keep it from getting to the brakes. It works in either direction. |

It had been a while since I used my line lock, but I have the "modern Hurst" unit that has the aluminum heat sink installed in 1992.
I think I could enagauge the line lock, press the brake pedal and the brakes would still work, just wouldn't release. My car is a 4 speed with just the front hooked up. I guess they all don't work the same? |
