Default JOE GIBBS 15W 50 SYNTHETIC HIGH ZINC HOT ROD OIL

I just picked up some of the Joe Gibbs 15W 50 all synthetic Hot Rod Oil with Zinc for my 396 L78 Solid Lifter motor.. I was always using Amsoil 20W 50 severe duty racing pure synthetic oil in this motor but was talked into trying this oil out for the first time.. From what I hear it is very good oil...

Has anyone used this oil?? I always like reading about the different oils and protection qualities and see which one looks best...

Rich

The guy I buy my Brad Penn oil from carries both and is an engine builder in North Carolina. He likes the Brad Penn over the Joe Gibbs oil. His name is Bob. Call him he is a nice guy. (704)782-1175.

Yes it is. Any of that stuff is pretty good as long as you got the zinc. I like the old Kendall stuff me and the Plowman used when you were still a young lad Dave!

I'm glad this came up. I would like to use Brad Penn, but have no idea where to get it locally in PA?

----Go on line and they will send you a case. As well a lot of performance engine builders will have plenty around, or know where to get it quick....Bill S
