Default Michigan 1967 license plate

I just purchased a nice little '67 Corvette that was delivered originally in Michigan. There are so many variations of plates in Michigan, does anyone know what's correct for a passenger car? Wayne Michigan is where the original owner was from.

I bet Bill S. knows the answer to this question......

----Tim,,,,Tim,,,Tim,,You are so right!!! Call Larry Leslie tomorrow at 810-982-4203. He is probably the biggest plate guy in Michigan. I have an NOS dealer plate from him on my Grand Prix. The dealer plates are getting pretty slim, but you never know what he may have (even manufacturer plates on occasion). He also has a guy down in Ohio that restores plates and, I swear, the guy is a miracle worker. I gave him the original California plate for my 65 Chevelle wagon and it was returned to me in absolutely NOS condition. Larry is a totally trustworthy guy in every way. He and his brother have one of the best trim shops in eastern Michigan........Bill S

Cool, I'd love a manufacturers plate for it since it was sold new in Detroit.
