Hi !
My friend Hans bought this 1967 Impala a couple of months ago. The previous owner lived in Midlothian, Texas. Hans is interested in knowing what type of dealer Steakley was/is ? Were they a big dealer, did they sell lots of hi-perf cars etc ? This hardtop has buckets and looks good. But the engine is just a 283 so he won´t burn any tires with it. ![]() ![]()

Here's a few cool shots of Chadwick's Steakley sponsored cars (the '67 and '68 cars scooped from past postings here)...click on the '69 car to enlarge.. Note all are sporting Don Hardy names!. Love that '67 flipper!. Interesting stuff in the background too!. Nice Post car Anders!. ~ Pete ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thank´s Pete !
So Steakley had their facility in Dallas, and sponsored Kelly Chadwick ! I noticed the red Camaro in front of the 68 Chadwick-car. It has a Yenko-type loggo with "Super Camaro" beneath, but what is the name in the loggo ? I hope there will be paperwork available in the future for my sedan as I´m pretty sure it will be interesting reading. Anders

That's the Weber Chevrolet '67 Camaro that I'm pretty sure was one of the Barford Yenkos driven by Gene Rains. I'm sure I'll be corrected by someone if I'm wrong about this. By the way, Weber is still in business to this day.
