Since I did the engine/trans swap in the Nova I thought I would add something I have had for a while. I had been waiting for a Nova to use these on and figured this was a good time. These extended cross member bolts really made installation easy and the bolts hanging out of the bottom of the subframe (about 1/2 inch) look pretty cool to me. I'll get a picture of them installed later. Anyone else ever use them?

Yup (on maybe five Camaros and a couple of Novas). They work great. And look cool too. B&B Performance used to sell them too (still might).

Those are a great item for Camaros and Novas. Moroso should've never stopped making them! I couldn't find a set for my '68 Camaro, but it wasn't too difficult to kinda copy them by taking a long 3/8 Grade 8 bolt and threading a nut all the way up until it stopped against the straight shank of the bolt. Easy mod to do and highly recommended if you can't find a set of these original Morosos.

Here's the bolts in the subframe. Yes I know the pipes look odd... I just installed the engine and headers so I cut the pipes long enough the lay inside the collector for the short drive to the muffler shop.
![]() ![]() I really dig the new/old oil pan too ![]() ![]() ![]() The little blue 68 has really changed a lot since last year. The NOS Autometer gauges and Rev Control are going in next ![]() Tommy ![]() |
