Anyone have a source for a set of 302 30 thousand over pistons. Looking for forged but has anyone used the hypertch one Rickssells?

I would use forged for the correct sound. Wiseco makes a pretty good set.

I would call Camaro Hi-Performance. I know from talking to Randy Wells they build more 302's than anyone. I know someone who used the NHRA J&E forged aluminum pistons. Just like the oem GM. Very happy. Heard horror stories about the silicone cast aluminum pistons that Rick's sells. One guy's engine locked up on the dyno due to wrist pin issues.

TRW's have the thin rings too. Not the best for a street Z28. Been down that road many years ago.

Right about the thin rings. Got along so far with them but the car only gets driven 1 to 2X a week. So far so good!
