SUPERCAR REUNION, ST. LOUIS & CLEV. AIR SHOW PICS

Not to be redundant here.. But thought I would post some pictures I had of this years Super Car Reunion. I tried to mix them up a bit to be different from what was posted already.

I also included some photos from downtown St. Louis and the arch.. My Wife and I visited there Thursday morning through late afternoon. Labor Day I attended the Cleveland National Air Show and met up with Phil "Woj" and included some pictures from the show...

The top of the St. Louis, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, showing the observation windows.







The mighty Mississippi River and the bridge which I believe Chevy Chase "AKA Clark Griswold" drove across with the "fam" in the movie Vaction... This was in close proximity to the arch..





St. Louis PD had some very cool looking Harleys...





This was City Hall.. Very Cool Building!!



Walked by Busch Stadium and there was a Cardinals game going on.. Lots of fans there for the game...









This was inside Union Station.. The architecture in this building is unbelievable!! Very Cool!! We had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe which is to the rear of this building...

M22Mike and Al getting ready to "duke it out" The "New Driver" front license plate on Mike's Camaro was put on by Grady as a practical joke that Doug Perry, Grady and myself were involved with. Mike had a USA-1 plate on there. He actually liked the plate and got a kick out of it. We thought he would be mad at us but wasn't....

My Wife was fortunate enough to get a ride in Andy M's 69 COPO Camaro driven by Dave McGaffe. They ran a 13.28 @ 103 MPH.. My Wife was smiling ear to ear after the run and loved it!! She never went down the track before..







Inside show Saturday. It was a pleasure to meet Joe Anglin who owns this stunning 69 Chevelle Yenko Car.. Pictures do this car no justice.. Awesome Ride Joe!!





This was a very nice Impala..







Early Thursday Morning at the photo shoot with the SCW Crew who just finished restoring this beautiful 67 Yenko Camaro.. Again pictures do this car no justice, very stunning!! Nice Resto Work Guys!!!

Phil "Woj" is a Pilot & Lieutenant with the Ohio National Air Guard and was flying this C130 for the show.. The next series of photos are his plane and him at command flying same!!











Phil took me up into the command center of the C130.. These are pictures from the cockpit, pilots seat, looking out the windows. There was balistic armor still in the cockpit area due to the plane just returning from Afghanistan...







Inside the back of the plane... Enough room for 2 musclecars.. ..



The thunderbirds did not fly due to bad weather we had in the afternoon, rainy thunderstorms... There is always next year!

Nice coverage of a great weekend.

That was the last Cleveland Airshow demo for our Unit's C-130's. We'll be losing them to the BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) legislation. It was a privilege to fly the last demo at that show. I'll miss the old bird; I was a mechanic on them for 5 years and flyer for 22 years.

Wish I could have made the reunion this year. I'll be ready for next year.
