I am still learning on these cars but I do not remember seeing an early style trim tag with NBR in place of NOR. Any ideas or suggestions.

That has been noticed and documented during a specific timeframe at Norwood where this error occured. I have seen several examples of this and have pic of a few. Just one of those trim tag errors.

I just saw another trim tag that had VN that I assume was in place of LOS. Was this the same thing also?

No. Early tags were VN, later LOS.
