I have a 69 Z/28 with manual steering and it needs a Pitman Arm. The casting number is 3953227. I can not find a replacement. It appears as though they make a reproduction unit with the same forging number for power steering cars but, the hole (keyed and splined) is smaller on the manual steering Pitman Arm.
I went through this once before years ago and wound up using a good used unit. Does anybody have a source for these? Even Ron Norman said that he doesn't have them. Thanks in advance for your help, Ed

Did you try to find P/N 3953225? I think the casting number is different than the part number, but I can't remember why.

Thanks for the input guys! As obvious as this seems, I've gotten 3 pitman arms with the part number 3953225 associated with them and they have all been for power steering cars. But, I'll give ClassicMuscle a call. Ed
