Here 'ya go, not mine so I have no stake in it, but I do know the car. This car passed through my hands a few years ago. This car was purchased in Oklahoma as an old bracket car but had such tantalizing clues such as a complete Ramchargers magnesium Dana 60, parachute mount, rack/pinion steering, 4-wheel disc brakes (Hust/Airheart?), was swiss-cheesed in the door sills and hinges. All kinds of neat things and there's a few other important things about it that I'm gonna keep to myself, but trust me, this car is gonna turn out to be something special that slipped under everybody's radar. Oh yeah, the also happens to be a Shadow Grey, 4-speed, radio delete 70 1/2 Z-28. How cool was that. I've always thought the car was an old Pro Stocker turned bracket racer. It's an amazingly solid rust-free hull, it's just really cut up and needs a good entire donor car to save it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...ARL%3AUS%3A1123

By the way, this is a car that desperately needed a NICB report ran on it for the original selling dealer, but everyone that said they could do it NEVER came through.

That car was on eBay 2-3 years ago and we had a thread here on it then..
As Mark noted, I've always felt it may be something special too and have thought of it many times since especially when I'd see similar old drag car pics but've never been able to find the thread or pics of it again to compare.. ~ Pete ![]()
