Unbolt your driver's seat and turn it 180 degrees and bolt it back in.
![]() But seriously, what kind of car is it? |

Talking about the Beretta, right? There were some AWD GM cars which you could adapt parts from, but everything you have to do to the floor sheet metal kinda makes it a crazy question. To be honest, it just seems real out of place on this forum.
Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate someone wanting to convert something to AWD. I am actually into the 1980's vintage Audi 4000's and Ur Quattro cars. They have just as much of a following as the Supercars on this site, but it tends to be more Euro. For point of reference, here is a fellow who took a FWD car, added body work to create a replica Pike's Peak car, added the AWD system for the rear and upgraded the motor to a 20vt 5 cylinder (from the original 10v NA 5 cyl). ![]() ![]() ![]() The basic answer for a person asking if a car can be converted to AWD is NO. If you have to ask if it can be done, then you probably don't have the required skill to be able to do such a thing. It's not like asking if there is a big brake kit for your car or something. To come full circle, it is kind of an interesting question. Why are you asking? |

To come full circle, it is kind of an interesting question. Why are you asking? [/ QUOTE ] Thank´s for your answers guys... I´m talking about the Beretta, right. Look, the Beretta is a perfect car for europe circumstances. 189ci, 150HP and only 187in. length... Now i have an idea... you can call me nuts, is ok ![]() - change from FWD into AWD or RWD - put a kompressor kit on it - big brake system - another suspension kit And so i have the fastet Beretta in the Eastern world and can burn down the 1/4 mile... but always it is still a daily driver... What do you think? |

FWD-->RWD drive conversions are common place in some of the Sportsman ranks, like Comp & Super Comp...as a matter of fact, there was a guy not too long ago on one of the S/S sites selling the better part of a mid-2000s Cavalier because he was doing just that. What it entails, I have no idea, but those newer FWD cars are pretty light, so they're a decent start to a drag car.
